Toronto police are looking for a man in connection with an alleged voyeurism incident inside a washroom at Kew Gardens park in the Beach earlier this week.

Police were called to the park on Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m. for reports of the incident that allegedly took place in a washroom.

According to police, an 11-year-old girl entered a park washroom and a man allegedly took photos of her when she was in one of the stalls. Police alleged that the man was already in the washroom when the girl entered and he took the photos through gaps in the stall.

The girl sought assistance and the man fled in an unknown direction.

The man is described as black, age 27 to 30, approximately five-feet, 10-inches tall with a medium/athletic build. He had a “black grown-out buzz cut style hair with tiny curls” and a short beard, police said.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black-framed sunglasses, a black shirt with a white “arctic” logo, black shorts, and black running shoes.

Investigators are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and that may have seen the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police in 55 Division at 416-808-5500, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 or at https://www.222tips.com
