A Tale of Two Parks features arts, activities and more in Dentonia and Taylor Creek parks this weekend

Shadowland Theatre’s presentation A Tale of Two Parks takes place this weekend in East Toronto.
The production will take audience members and participants of all ages on an exploration of Dentonia Park and nearby Taylor Creek Park in the Victoria Park and Danforth avenues area.
Featured will be the communities, wildlife and ecology of the area in and around the two parks.
Shadowland Theatre will have artists-in-residence at both parks today (Saturday, Aug. 22) and a number of creative activities on the themes of animal and plant life are planned for participants.
Those attending will also have a chance to create costumes and puppets, learn music and songs, share stories and experience Indigenous teachings and nature walks.
A Tale of Two Parks takes place from noon to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow (Sunday, Aug. 23).
Dentonia Park is located at 80 Thyra Ave., just northwest of Victoria Park and Danforth avenues.
Taylor Creek Park can be accessed by entering at 200 Dawes Rd., north of Danforth Avenue.
