Spring Fling Craft and Foodie Affair slated for Saturday, May 2, in East York

The Spring Fling Craft and Foodie Affair is set to take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 345 in East York this Saturday.
The community is welcome to shop between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and students looking for volunteer hours are invited to help out.
The Saturday, May 2, Spring Fling is a community-driven fundraiser in support of the Fred Victor social service and charitable organization.
All proceeds from the affair will go to the charity, with a goal of reaching $15,000.
Fred Victor is a charitable organization that works toward positive change in the lives of homeless and low-income people living across the city. The organization provides many programs, including affordable housing, food, and job training.
This Saturday’s Spring Fling will feature 35 artisan and food vendors, surprise gift bags, a book sale, door prizes, raffles and more.
Visitors to Spring Fling will find unique handmade crafts, delicious treats, and more.
The event is fully accessible, and will have an ATM on site.
The Spring Fling is a great opportunity to shop for Mother’s Day and also to welcome the spring season by giving back to an essential community service.
RCL Branch 345 is located at 81 Peard Rd. in East York, near Victoria Park and St. Clair avenues.
