Glen Stewart Ravine’s spring cleanup slated for today

The Glen Stewart Ravine Annual Spring Cleanup takes place this morning.
The event goes from 10 a.m. until noon on Sunday, April 26.
Participants are asked to meet at the Beech Avenue entrance to the ravine, just south of Kingston Road.
Students participating in the clean up are eligible to earn volunteer hours.
Bags and treats will be provided, but participants are advised to wear boots, gloves, and clothing that they don’t mind getting dirty. Coffee and treats for this morning’s cleanup are being provided by The Black Canary and Courage Foods on Kingston Road, said organizers Friends of the Glen Stewart Ravine.
Special guests at the cleanup will be representatives from the Cliffcrest Butterflyway and the Pollinator Garden who will be on site and available to answer questions.
