Toronto Beaches host crosstown rivals the Mimico Mountaineers in Junior A lacrosse action tonight at Ted Reeve Arena

The Toronto Beaches Junior A lacrosse team hosts the Mimico Mountaineers tonight at Ted Reeve Arena on Main Street. The July 3 game starts at 8 p.m.

The Toronto Beaches Junior A Lacrosse team will host its crosstown rivals the Mimico Mountaineers from Etobicoke tonight at Ted Reeve Arena.

The Thursday, July 3, game starts at 8 p.m. Ted Reeve Arena, 175 Main St.

As of June 30, the Beaches had a record of 11 wins and five losses and sit in third place in the 11-team OJLL (Ontario Junior Lacrosse League) standings.

Tonight’s game sees the OJLL’s only two Toronto-based teams square off. Earlier in the season, the Beaches beat the Mountaineers 10-4 in a game played on June 28 in Etobicoke.

The Beaches will have only two games left to play in the regular season after tonight’s tilt versus Mimico.

On Saturday, July 5, the Beaches will be on the road to face the Whitby Warriors at Iroquois Park.

On Monday, July 7, the Beaches play their final regular season game at home against the St. Catharine’s Athletics. Start time for the July 7 game is 8 p.m. at Ted Reeve Arena.

Once the regular season ends, playoffs will begin with the top eight teams in the standings qualifying for the post season.
