Man sought in connection with alleged theft and fraud in Danforth and Greenwood avenues area

Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an alleged theft and fraud investigation that took place in the Danforth and Greenwood avenues area.
According to police, a man approached a woman in the area at approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, and demanded her debit card and PIN number. The man then fled the area with victim’s card, police alleged.
The victim was not injured, said police.
The male suspect is described as being in his mid-50’s, with a skinny build, and has grey and white facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses grey hooded sweater, black jacket, dark pants, and brown shoes.
Police said he fled the area in a vehicle described as a red Hyundai, possibly an Elantra model.
Police are concerned there may be more victims and have released a photo of the man they are seeking to identify.
