Police seek alleged prowler in Broadview and Hogarth avenues area
Toronto police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted in connection with an alleged prowling inciding in East Toronto.
According to a news release, police began a prowl-by-night investigation early on the morning of Thursday, April 16, in the Broadview and Hogarth avenues area.
Police were called to the area which is southeast of Broadview and Danforth avenues at approximately 1:25 a.m. for reports of a man allegedly prowling on private property.
The man was observed on a security camera looking into several windows of a house, alleged police.
The suspect is described as approximately 30 years old, with a medium build, long black hair tied into a bun, and a black chinstrap beard/goatee. The suspect was wearing a baseball hat, light coloured jacket and pants, and a backpack.
Suspect sought in alleged break-in last week
Also in a news release from this morning (Friday, April 24), police are looking to locate a man wanted in connection with alleged break-ins last week in the Danforth and Logan avenues area.
According to police, officers were called to the area on Wednesday, April 15, at approximately 2:19 a.m., for a reported break-in at an establishment.
Police alleged a man damaged the front door of an establishment, entered and attempted to steal property.
On Saturday, April 18, police alleged the same man used an object to break through the front door of a convenience store in the same area. Once inside, police alleged the man ransacked the inside of the store and stole property
Peter Maroulis, 55, of Toronto, is wanted by police on two counts of breaking and entering and for breach of probation.
He is described as five-feet, nine-inches tall, with a stocky build. He was wearing a baseball hat and dark clothing.
An image has been released in the hopes someone can make police aware of his whereabouts.
