Join Our Volunteer Distribution Team

Help keep our community connected by becoming a part of the Beach Metro Community News distribution network. We’re currently looking for volunteers carriers to help deliver papers and dedicated route captains for delivery routes in the core area of the Beaches community.

What Do Captains and Carriers Do?

Captains are a vital link in our distribution network. They oversee specific areas by picking up bundles of newspapers at our office and delivering them directly to the homes of our volunteer carriers. The carriers then distribute the newspapers door-to-door to our readers. It’s a hands-on and rewarding way to support local journalism while building connections within your community.

Why Volunteer?

  • Be a part of an important community tradition.
  • Meet your neighbours and explore the area.
  • Get some light exercise while making a difference.

Interested? Contact Melinda Drake, our Distribution Manager, at 416-698-1164 x 27 or by email using the link below or the contact us page. Melinda will be happy to share available routes and answer any questions.
