Exploring Architecture exhibit to be presented by f8 Photography Collective from Sept. 1 to 12
The Beach-based f8 Photography Collective will be presenting its Exploring Architecture exhibition from Sept. 1 to 12.
The exhibition takes place in the Dignam Gallery at the Women’s Art Association of Canada, 23 Prince Arthur Ave., in Toronto’s Annex area.
The f8 Photography Collective is in its 18th year, and this is its second exhibition of 2026.
As the name implies, this exhibit will be exploring architecture through works by local photographers Catherine MacKinnon, Lily Markovic, Anthony Schatzky, Natalia Shields, Felicity Somerset, Rod Trider, John Wallace and Jonathan Ward.
“In this exhibition, one will find a diversity of approaches to the subject matter. These include images of old and contemporary architecture, some iconic, as well as cityscapes and abstract and graphic images,” said a news release from f8.
The opening reception for Exploring Architecture, with the artists present, will be on Friday, Sept 4, from 6 to 8 p.m at the Dignam Gallery.
Exhibit times for the show will be Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.On Saturday, Sept 5, Saturday, Sept 12, some of the photographers will be present at the gallery from 1 pm to 3 pm.
The Women’s Art Association of Canada offers exhibition, education, and volunteer opportunities for people with a passion for the arts. The Dignam Gallery is a historic gallery space on the main floor. It is accessible by subway or bus, car (limited paid street parking), bicycle, or on foot.
