Second round Junior A lacrosse playoff series between Toronto Beaches and Whitby Warriors starts tonight

The Toronto Beaches Junior A lacrosse team will begin its second round playoff series in the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) tonight with a game against the Whitby Warriors.
The best-of-seven series begins on Tuesday, July 22, at 8 p.m. at the Pickering Recreation Complex ((1867 Valley Farm Rd.).
While the Beaches team played its regular season home games at Ted Reeve Arena on Main Street, the local rink is putting its ice back in and the remainder of the Beaches home playoff games will now be held at the Pickering Recreation Complex.
In their opening round best-of-five playoff series, the Beaches swept the Mimico Mountaineers and the Warriors beat the St. Catharines Athletics three games to two.
In the OJLL regular season, the Beaches finished second overall in the 11-team league.
The winner of this playoff series will qualify for the league finals and a chance to win the Ontario championship Iroquois Cup.
Game Two in the series with Whitby is on July 24 at the Iroqouis Park Sports Centre, 500 Victoria St. W. in Whitby at 7:30 p.m.
Game Three is July 25 at the Pickering Recreation Complex at 8 p.m., and Game Four goes on July 27 at Iroquois Park at 4 p.m.
If necessary, Game Five will be on July 28 at the Pickering Recreation Complex at 8 p.m.; Game Six will be at Iroquois Park at 7:30 p.m.; and Game Seven will be at the Pickering Recreation Complex at 8 p.m.
