Tree lighting ceremony set for today at Withrow Park
East Toronto residents are invited to a tree lighting ceremony today in Withrow Park.
Hosted by Toronto-Danforth Counillor Paula Fletcher, the ceremony is set for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the park which is located at 725 Logan Ave., south of Danforth Avenue.
The Withrow Park celebration will also include live performances from some of the artists who will be taking part in the Riverdale Share concert on the afternoon Sunday, Dec. 8. Those attending tonight’s tree lighting ceremony are asked to bring a donation of a non-perishable food item for local food banks.
