Acoustic Harvest set to open concert season with Tanglefoot Reunion Tour on Oct. 3

Acoustic Harvest is back for 2026-2027 with its 29th season of live music.

The folk and roots music series began in 1997. This season opens with the Tanglefoot Reunion Tour concert on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The concert takes place at St. Paul’s United Church, 200 McIntosh St., in southwest Scarborough, at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7:30 p.m.

The Tanglefoot ensemble includes Steve Ritchie, Al Parrish, Sandra Swannell Young, Rob Ritchie, and Josh Ritchie.

Other concerts scheduled to make up Acoustic Harvest’s upcoming season include:

• Blues duo Chris Whiteley and Diana Braithwaite on Saturday, Nov. 14.
• The Banjo Special featuring Arnie Naiman, Chris Coole, Brian Taheny, and Chris Quinn on Saturday, Dec. 5.
• Western string quartet Medusa Quartet with Saskia Tomkins, Marta Sołek, Lea Kirstein, and Georgia Hathaway on Saturday, March 20, 2027.
• Rockabilly and classic country group Nicholas Campbell and The Metre Cheaters on Saturday, April 17, 2027.
• JUNO-nominated folk duo Dala, which consists of Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther on Saturday, May 15, 2027. This show is also a benefit concert for The Healing Garden of Solace for Cancer Patients at the Mackenzie Health Foundation in Richmond Hill and wraps up the concert season.
