Autumn Concerto set for tonight at Danforth Mennonite Church

Local composer and guitarist Mark Battenberg will be presenting an Autumn Concerto to welcome the changing of the seasons from summer to fall on Danforth Avenue tonight.

The concert will feature chamber music composed by Battenberg, who is a Beach resident.

Performers will be Battenberg on guitar, Alex Cheung on violin, Sybil Shanahan on cello, and Shakuhachi flute master Debbie Danbrook.

The concert will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m., at the Danforth Mennonite Church, 2174 Danforth Ave.

Cost for those attending is $20 or pay-what-you-can.
