Taste of Bangladesh along portion of Danforth Avenue in Scarborough set for this Saturday and Sunday

The 2026 Taste of Bangladesh street festival is set for this weekend along a portion of Danforth Avenue in southwest Scarborough.
The annual event allows visitors to experience cultural performances and Bangladeshi flavours.
The festival will see a number of vendors and live acts centered around dance, music, and fashion, as well as a family and kids zone, allowing participants of all ages to explore the event.
Taste of Bangladesh will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and on Sunday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The festival is free to attend and will take place along Danforth Avenue east of Birchmount Road and west of the Kingston Road split.
A section of Danforth Avenue between Birchmount Road and the lights at the entrance to Variety Village will be closed to vehicle traffic from the morning of Sept. 5 through to the morning of Sept. 7 for the festival.
