Advance poll for Beaches-East York federal byelection on until 9 p.m. tonight

Residents should be aware that today (Monday, Aug. 24) is the last day for advanced polls in the Beaches East-York federal byelection.

The advance polls will be open until 9 p.m. this evening. 

Those running for the Beaches-East York seat in this federal byelections are Shannon Devine of the NDP; Michel Lachance of the People’s Party of Canada; Bruce Livesey of the Green Party; Tanveer Shahnawaz of the Liberal Party; Jim Syrbos of the Conservative Party; and Cameron Thomas of the Canadian Future Party.

For those not casting a ballot in the advance poll, Election Day for the Beaches East-York riding is Monday, Aug. 31, and the polls will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. that day.
