Two men charged with attempted murder after alleged stabbing in East Toronto

Two men have been arrested and are facing charges in connection with an attempted murder investigation related to an alleged incident last week in East Toronto that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a stabbing on Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the Danforth and Broadview avenues area.
Police alleged that an adult male was approached by two known male suspects. One man then allegedly stabbed the victim in the back, while the other stood by, said police.
The suspects then allegedly fled the scene, said police. The victim was found on the ground by a passerby, who called 9-1-1. The victim was then transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, said police.
In a news release on the morning of Monday, Aug. 17, Toronto police announced the arrests of two men in connection with the alleged incident.
On Friday, Aug. 14, Hung Nguyen, 66, of Toronto was arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
On Saturday, Aug. 15, Colin Miller, 44, of Toronto was arrested and charged with attempted murder.
