Electric Island set for tonight and Saturday at South River in the Port Lands
The August edition of the Electric Island music festival is slated for this Friday and Saturday in the Port Lands.
The festival takes place at the South River site, in the area of Cherry and Polson streets, beginning the evening of Friday, Aug. 7, and also on Saturday, Aug. 8.
There will be three stages featuring a number of DJs and other performances on both Friday and Saturday.
Hours for both days will see the doors open at 2:30 p.m. and music until 11 p.m.
Slated to the be on the stages on Friday are Boris Brejcha, Cassian, Kasablanca, Jenner, Ana&Kae, Ayybo, Devault, Marta, Deecee B2B Quim, Gem, Nitin, Kinjo, House of Lords, Will Scheffel and Corinne.
Among those on the stages Saturday will be Eli Brown, Ki/Ki, Novah, Venus in Foil, MK, DJ Seinfeld, Robag Wruhme, Pasha, Stefania, 999ADJ, Katie Cooper, XI, Procta, and Jwon.
Ticket types include general admission, VIP, and stage access, each ranging in price from $90 to $290. There are also two-day passes available for purchase.
