Man sought after alleged robbery and assault in Broadview and Dundas avenues area

Toronto police Service are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in connection with an investigation into an alleged robbery and aggravated assault last week in East Toronto

On Friday, June 12, at approximately 4:55 p.m., police responded to a call for a reported robbery in the Dundas Street East and Broadview Avenue area.

According to police a man approached the victim who was unloading a vehicle in the area. The man allegedly assaulted the victim unprovoked and stole the victim’s property, said police.

The man then fled the area. The victim was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, said police.

The suspect is described 25 to 30 years-old, six-feet tall, weighing 180 to 19-0 pounds, with a thin build. He was wearing all black clothing.

Images have been released of the suspect in the hopes that someone can identify the man and contact police.

Police are looking to identify this man in connection with an alleged robbery and assault in the Dundas Street East and Broadview Avenue area on the afternoon of Friday, June 12.
