Woman sought in connection with alleged assault at Main Street subway station

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with an alleged assault at the Main Street TTC station.

Officers responded to a call for an assault at the subway station, on Main Street just north of Danforth Avenue, at approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 28.

Police alleged that the suspect assaulted a woman in the station elevator before fleeing the area. The victim was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. 

The female suspect is described as between 30 and 40 years old and six feet tall. She was last seen wearing a grey sweater, a black top, black shorts, and a bonnet-style bandana. She was also carrying a green and red reusable bag and was walking with a toddler.

Images of the suspect have been released in the hopes that someone will make police aware of her whereabouts.
