East End Kids Pride celebrations, including parade, set for Sunday in Dentonia Park

The East End Kids Pride 2026 parade and celebration will take place this Sunday.
The annual event is slated for Dentonia Park, 80 Thyra Ave., on May 31.
The local celebration kicks off June’s Pride Month events in Toronto.
Events in the park will be taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s theme for East End Kids Pride is Fantastical Fairies and Fauna, and the events on May 31 will feature the parade, face painting, snacks, dancing, and more.
The schedule for Sunday will see a morning welcome, followed by a Rainbow Circus performance from 10:30 to 11 a.m.; then the Queen Arts Market from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; the opening ceremonies at noon; the Kids Pride Parade around the park with Shadowland Theatre from 12:30 to 1 p.m.; a second performance by Rainbow Circus from 1 to 1:30 p.m.; and Drag Storytime and Performance with Manny Dingo Chelazon Leroux from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. The celebrations wrap up with a Dance Party in the Park from 2:30 to 3 p.m.
All are welcome to celebrate with the rainbow families, friends, and neighbours.
East End Kids Pride Parade Day was created when a seven-year-old asked her two moms if she could organize a Pride parade for her friends. Three hundred people showed up to that first parade in 2023 and the celebration has been an East Toronto tradition ever since. East End Kids Pride is presented by Shadowland Theatre and East End Arts.
