Police seek suspect in alleged break in at Main and Gerrard

Toronto Police are seeking to identify a suspect in a break-and-enter at a restaurant near Main Street and Gerrard Street East on April 16.

Toronto Police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect in a break-and-enter investigation in the Upper Beach.

At 7 a.m. on Thursday April 16, police allege that a man broke into a restaurant in the Main Street and Gerrard Street East area, before allegedly stealing items from the restaurant. 

The suspect was last seen walking northbound on Main Street. The man is described as having a medium build, and was wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweater, black Nike pants, a black baseball cap with the word “MODE” written in red, and carrying a black backpack. 

Images of the suspect have been released in the hopes that someone may identify him.
