Author of book on Montreal Expos to host signing session in the Beach on Victoria Day

Montreal Expos fans will have a chance to relive some baseball memories at a book signing set for the Beach on Victoria Day.
Historian Danny Gallagher has chronicled the story and stories of the former Major League Baseball franchise over the years with 11 books, including his latest The Tragic Story of Willie Davis and Other Expos Vignettes.
He will be signing copies at Coles in the Beach, 2169 Queen St. E., on Monday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Published by Dundurn Press, the book features five chapters on Davis, the Expos Player of the Year in 1974, who had many ups and downs during his career in the majors. There are 35 other chapters on other players who put on an Expos uniform from 1969 to 2004.
