Electric Island music festival slated for Woodbine Park this Saturday and Sunday

Electric Island is kicking off the 14th season of the multi-day music festival in the Beach this weekend, featuring two days of electronic music performances spanning across three different stages at Woodbine Park.
“Dive into the electric energy of Toronto this summer at Electric Island’s 14th edition, turning the city’s parks into the epicenter of electronic music,” reads an excerpt from the event’s website.
The two-day event at Woodbine Park will take place on Saturday, May 16, starting at 2:30 p.m; and also on Sunday, May 17, starting at the same time. Performances each day are slated to end at approximately 10 p.m.
Part of an eight-day music festival spanning across four weekends and differing locations across Toronto, this season’s Electric Island is touted as “not just an event; it’s a legacy.”
Future events will be held throughout the summer in June, August, and September, although venues have not yet been announced for these events.
Along with the performances at Woodbine Park this Saturday and Sunday, there will be an Electric Island after-party taking place at west-end music club Coda starting at 10 p.m. each of those two days.
Please note that separate tickets need to be purchased to attend at Woodbine Park and/or the afterparty.
Live performers at Electric Island in Woodbine Park will include Bad Boombox, Tomb Raver, Serafina, and Sam Divine, among others. Visit their website for the full lineup.
