Pizza Nova’s That’s Amore fundraiser for Variety Village takes place today

Variety Village is located on Danforth Avenue in southwest Scarborough.

Variety Village is partnering with Pizza Nova to bring back its original That’s Amore Pizza for Kids initiative on Tuesday, May 12.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, customers can walk into participating Pizza Nova locations and purchase a medium cheese or pepperoni pizza while quantities last, for $5.99. One dollar from every pizza sold will be directly supporting children and families at Variety Ontario.

This is the first time since 2019, that the campaign returns to its original format, allowing the chance for customers, franchisees and communities to help those in need in a tasty way.

“Bringing back the one-day event is incredibly meaningful for our customer and for us,” says Dominic Primucci, President of Pizza Nova in a news release.

“There’s something special about seeing communities come together for a single day with a shared purpose.”

“The return of this one-day campaign brings renewed energy to the program, uniting communities together in a shared moment of impact. Every pizza purchased provides children and families with access to inclusive programs that foster independence, confidence and a sense of belonging,” explained Charlie Johnstone, president and CEO of Variety Village, which is located on Danforth Avenue in southwest Scarborough.
