55 Division’s Community Police Day slated for Jimmie Simpson Park this Saturday

Toronto police’s 55 Division Community Police Liaison Committee hosts its annual Community Police Day this Saturday, May 9.

The free celebration takes place at Jimmie Simpson Park, 872 Queen St. E., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Those attending will be able to see police vehicles on display, learn about bicycle safety and crime prevention information,  and also enjoy a free barbecue.

Saturday’s event takes place rain or shine.

Jimmie Simpson Park is on the north side of Queen Street East, west of Booth Avenue and east of the railroad tracks.
