Federal Election 2025: Candidates Forum for Scarborough Southwest voters to take place on April 16

Scarborough Southwest voters can learn more about their federal election candidates at a forum slated for Wednesday, April 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre, 313 Pharmacy Ave.
So far, candidates Bill Blair (Liberal), Fatima Shaban (NDP), Amanda Cain (Green Party), Christine Nugent (Marxist-Leninist Party) and Michael Poulin ( People’s Party of Canada) are scheduled to attend the forum which is being presented by a number of local organizations including Scarborough United Neighhourhoods (SUN).
The forum will begin at 7 p.m. with opening statements from each candidate, followed by a moderated debate and a Q&A session.
Residents wishing to attend can register in advance, but capacity is limited to 150 seats and will be managed on a first-come, first-seated basis. Residents can also attend the forum via Zoom or Facebook.
