East End Arts Holiday Arts Market among events set for this weekend in East Toronto

Local residents will have their pick of a number of holiday events taking place in the East Toronto area over the weekend of Dec. and 8.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, East End Arts will be hosting its first ever Holiday Arts Market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

The market takes place at St. Matthew’s Clubhouse, 450 Broadview Ave. Those attending will be able to support a lineup of local, emerging artists selling personalized or self-designed items. For the holiday vibes there will be music on the porch, facepainting for kids, and sweet treats of hot apple cider with cookies available inside.  

East End Arts will also be collecting non-perishable food items at the Dec. 7 market to donate to a local food bank. Food donations will be collected at the door to the St. Matthew’s Clubhouse.

Also this weekend, Corbin’s Christmas Market is taking place at the Union Realty building at 2234 Queen St. E., northeast corner of Beech Avenue.

The festive pop-up market is open seven days a week and will continue through until Dec. 23.

Corbin Catering and Foods, in collaboration with DeClute Realty and The Wright Sisters realty are the presenters of the market which celebrates everything that makes the holiday season special – from decadent treats and confections to gourmet foods, unique gifts, candles, and holiday décor.
