Cartoonist Bill Suddick, photographer Phil Marion among those taking part in Saturday’s Beach United Church Christmas Market

Local cartoonist Bill Suddick and local photographer Phil Marion will be at the Beach United Church’s Christmas Market on Saturday, Nov. 23.

Marion will be selling his popular calendars which feature his stunning Beach images; while Suddick will be selling copies of his book ‘Life’s The Beach’ along with bumper stickers. 

The Beach United Church Christmas Market will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The church is located at 140 Wineva Ave.

Suddick is a Toronto-born designer and Illustrator, who has drawing the editorial cartoons for Beach Metro Community News for close to 40 years. He has also created cartoons for the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Playboy and Reader’s Digest. His book Life’s The Beach features a collection of his many Beach Metro Community News cartoons over the past decades.

Proceeds of Suddick’s sales at Saturday’s Christmas Fair will go to local charities.

Marion is an award-winning National Geographic photographer and publisher. A local resident, he is known for his images of the Beach and its landmarks, as well as his annual calendars. Many of his works can also be found in local shops.
