Two teens facing gun charges after loaded handguns found during investigation in Kingston Road and Danforth Avenue area
Two teenage boys are facing weapons charges after two loaded handguns were allegedly discovered as a result of a police investigation in the Kingston Road and Danforth Avenue area on the weekend.
According to police, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 28, as part of an investigation into an alleged robbery.
Police said officers observed the alleged robbery suspects and arrested them after a foot pursuit. According to police, the suspects allegedly discarded a satchel they were carrying during the pursuit.
When examined, the satchel allegedly contained two loaded handguns.
Both youths are facing numerous weapons charges.
Under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, the identities of the accused cannot be published since they are under the age of 18
