Miami Fades’ Beaches Community Appreciation Day celebration set for Wednesday, Aug. 28

Miami Fades barbershop on Queen Street East will be celebrating the neighbourhood with its first annual Beaches Community Appreciation Day event on the afternoon of Wednesday, Aug. 28.

The celebration will be held in front of the Union Realty Building, northeast corner of Beech Avenue and Queen Street East, from noon to 8 p.m.

There will be a free barbecue with hot dogs and corn, along with refreshments.

The event will also feature live music from Crash & Burn Tattoo (also on Queen Street East in the Beach) playing Indigenous drums/dance.

“We’re bringing the community together for a day of fun, food, and fantastic vibes,” said Dwight Murray, founder of Miami Fades Group of Companies.

Everyone in the neighbourhood is invited to the Beaches Community Appreciation Day presented by Miami Fades. There will be games and activities for all ages, and residents are encouraged to bring the entire family.
