The Beach and East Toronto Historical Society will host a presentation by military historian David Fuller, on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 25.
Among those featured in Fuller’s presentation taking place in advance of Remembrance Day on Nov. 11 will be Capt. Charles Szammers.
Fuller is passionate about uncovering the stories of local military heroes.
Szammers was raised in the Beach, attended Malvern Collegiate and served in the First World War.
The free presentation will take place at the Beaches Sandbox, 2181 Queen St. E., and goes from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
