More than 500 runners and walkers hit the boardwalk on April 11 for the annual Beaches Spring Sprint. Despite some threatening clouds, the weather remained dry and cool, with a breeze to keep runners working on the flat course.
The race is a fundraiser for the Beaches Recreation Centre, organized by the centre’s advisory board.
