I will always remember my first impressions of the Beach. When I moved here almost 20 years ago, I couldn’t get over how many baby strollers and dogs I kept bumping into on the sunny side of Queen. Happily not much has changed, except some of the businesses. Little Tots Hair Shop is the only shop on this stretch of Queen that is still in business. This photograph was taken by a Beach Metro News staff photographer in 1987, the same year the Tots shop first opened their doors. Do you have an old photograph you’d like to share?
