It’s not often someone calls and tells me they have a Beach photograph from the turn of the last century. My heart leaps in anticipation – is it a usable image, will I be able find the right spot, are there any houses or original structures still standing? Such is the case with this beautiful photograph donated by Peggy Feltmate. Peggy was paging through an old photo album of her great aunt’s and found this fantastic Beech Avenue streetscape. Check out the clouds of dust the car barreling down the hill left behind. Thank you, Peggy. Do you have a photo you’d like to share? Please call me at 416-691-4774.
