We’ve been very lucky. Over the 15 years at the Great Escape Book Store my wife Marg and I have made many wonderful friends. We have shared a lot of books and a lot of laughs and have enjoyed watching tiny customers grow into teenagers.
In the beginning we were joined by David, a boyhood friend, an English teacher and a virtual encyclopedia of mystery novels. In our fifth year Katya and Keith made a huge contribution right up to the present. The knowledge and people skills of all three have been invaluable. More recently Emma and Sue added their personalities and skills. Much to our delight Katya is ready to take over the business while the old folks ride off into the sunset.
So where do we go from here? Marg and I expect to volunteer regularly at the store, keeping a connection with so many great people. Thank you for 15 great years!
