What a gift I received from Sonya Munro in this archival photograph. It was taken in 1902, just up the hill from Queen on Balsam. Isn’t it incredible how much a grouping of trees can grow in 100 years?
Last issue’s Deja Views, taken on Hammersmith, in the 1920s shows a small boy standing on the running board of a car. It turns out that boy was the late Ross Richards, a well known Beacher. Ross’ obituary was in our Feb. 11, 2011 issue.
