Toronto Contra Dance

We’re delighted to kick off our season with this first dance!
Shake off the week and hit the floor for an unforgettable night of music, movement, and community joy.

With the ever-energetic Drew Delaware calling the steps and the electrifying Les Quatre Patates (Grace Hendrickson-Jones, Jonathan Werk, Jacob deGroot-Maggetti & Antonie Beaudet) from Québec lighting up the hall, your feet won’t stand a chance of staying still!

New to Contra? No problem!
No partner needed, and beginners are always welcome – we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

7:30 PM – Dance the night away!

Admission is sliding scale: Pick your own price somewhere between $7 and $35. Children (16 and under) enter free. At our current attendance rates, it costs $22 per person to put on a dance. Giving generously if you are able is a great way to support our dance; bringing friends is another!
