Every Mask Has a Story / Hear the Voice Behind the Masks

June is Brain Injury Awareness Month/ in collaboration with Beaches Sandbox Community Centre, a Speak Easy style format of storytelling, sharing the stories of hope, resilience and struggles of those living with brain injuries.
A fundraiser for biayr.org, these painted masks express, for some, what life was like before their brain injury and what life is like now. An invisible disability, the masks help express, to the public, what emotions those with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) experience. Come see the masks on display and hear the voices behind the masks, in a community gathering.
