Enchanted Baroque

Rezonance Baroque Ensemble and the Apocryphonia Concert Series invite you into a musical world of fairies, vampires, deities and demons this October – just in time for Halloween! This is a concert with tale-telling at its heart; featuring both dramatic musical selections and enrapturing folk-tales told by Elena Spanu. You’ll hear spirited performances of well-known pieces for Baroque chamber ensemble such as Henry Purcell’s The Fairy Queen & King Arthur alongside deep cuts such as arias from Francesco Cavalli’s Rosinda or John Eccles’ Aire from the Mad Lover.
Costumes are encouraged!
