Compost Day at East York Farmers’ Market

Get your shovels ready! Councillor Fletcher has arranged for free compost to be dropped at the East York Civic Centre on Tuesday, June 24th at 8 a.m. during the weekly East York Farmers’ Market.

Get your compost then pick up some fresh, local food from the great vendors of the East York Farmers’ Market, open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Compost will be dropped off in the northwest area of the East York Civic Centre near the intersection of Memorial Park and Durant (see this map).

*Please bring your own shovels and containers as compost will not be bagged. Compost will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and delivered rain or shine.*
