Birding 101: Tips for Bird Watching in Toronto

Learn everything you need to know to start birding in Toronto!

Birding is fun, easy, and can be done anywhere–in your own backyard or in a local park. Get tips on how to choose binoculars and field guides, when and where to bird in your neighbourhood, and how to identify the birds you are likely to find. Find out about clubs and field trips, birding ethics, and protection and conservation efforts. Presented by Monika Croydon, a member of the Toronto Ornithological Club.

This program is for all ages, including children. Drop-in, no registration necessary.
