☀️💙 Ever wanted to make art with sunlight? Join us for Shades of Blue: A Collaborative Cyanotype Workshop, a hands-on workshop exploring the magic of solar printing!
🌿🧵Learn how to create beautiful Prussian-blue cyanotype prints by arranging botanicals and other flat objects onto fabric and exposing them to sunlight. You’ll leave with a print of your own, plus contribute a piece to a collaborative quilt that will be displayed at East End Arts!
No experience necessary — just curiosity and a willingness to try something new! All materials provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own botanicals or flat objects to print with.

✨ About the Artist
Sahar Alamgir is a multidisciplinary Pakistani artist based in Toronto who works with found and inherited fabrics to create quilts and other textile works. Her practice explores the stories and memories held within materials, and she’s recently been experimenting with sun-printing and natural dyes.
