Polls open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for today’s Scarborough Southwest federal byelection

The federal byelection in Scarborough Southwest takes place today (Monday, April 13) and polls will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Today is Voting Day in the Scarborough Southwest federal byelection.

Polls will be open in the riding today (Monday, April 13) from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. 

Voters in the riding should have received a Voter Identification card with Election Day information, including where to vote, which varies by postal code.

Candidates running in today’s Scarborough Southwest federal byelection are Doly Begum for the Liberal Party; Diana Filipova of the Conservative Party; April Francisco, Independent; Peter Koubakis, People’s Party of Canada; Pooja Malhotra from the Green Party; Lyall Sanders for the Centrist Party; Fatima Shaban from the New Democratic Party; and David Vedova of the Christian Heritage Party.

Along with Scarborough Southwest, University-Rosedale in Toronto and Terrebonne, an off-island suburb of Montreal, are also holding federal byelections today.
