Man sought in connection with alleged break-in at home in the Carlaw and Gerrard area

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an investigation into an alleged break-in earlier this month.
On Wednesday, April 1, police said a man allegedly broke into a Carlaw Avenue and Gerrard Street East area home. Police said entry was gained through the back of the home, and once inside the man allegedly stole jewelry and money before fleeing in a vehicle.
The man was wearing a black balaclava, an orange and yellow safety shirt, khaki coloured cargo pants and black shoes.
The vehicle that the suspect fled in was a white, older model of Chevrolet Equinox, said police.
Images of the suspect and the vehicle have been released in the hopes that someone can identify them and contact police with information.
