Police in 55 Division seek suspect in connection with number of alleged sexual assaults

Toronto police are looking to locate a man wanted in connection with a number of alleged sexual assaults.

Police were made aware this week of the alleged incidents in the Donlands and Danforth avenues area and other parts of Toronto.

According to a police news release on Thursday, April 2, the victim met a man through social media in September of 2022. The man made arrangements to meet the victim and go to another event, police alleged. The man then claimed he had forgotten the tickets at his residence and the victim went back with him, police said.

While in the residence, police alleged the victim was sexually assaulted.

In January of 2023, police said the victim met a man in a park along Lake Shore Boulevard. Police alleged the victim was threatened at that time, forced into a bathroom and sexually assaulted.

In July of 2023, police said the victim and a man were together in the Keele Street and York Boulevard area when the victim was allegedly forced into a vehicle and sexually assaulted.

In December of 2023, police said the victim and a man were at a residence in the Jarvis Street and Dundas Street East area when the victim was allegedly threatened and sexually assaulted.

In the April 2 news release, police said Luis Alberto Moscoso Lopez, 34, of Toronto, is wanted on charges including five counts of sexual assault, five counts of uttering threats, assault and forcible confinement.

He is described as approximately five-feet, eight-inches tall, with brown hair, medium build, clean shaven and has numerous tattoos. Police have released an image of him in the hopes that someone can make them aware of his whereabouts.
