East York Historical Society to host presentation by editorial cartoonist Bill Suddick

Bill Suddick, the editorial cartoonist for Beach Metro Community News, will be the guest speaker at tonight’s meeting of the East York Historical Society.

The meeting is set for the evening of Tuesday, March 31, at S. Walter Stewart Library, 170 Memorial Park Ave., starting at 6:30 p.m.

Suddick has been creating editorial cartoons for more than 40 years and will speak about his many experiences.

Along with creating cartoons for Beach Metro Community News, Suddick has also worked with the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, Reader’s Digest and Chickadee magazine.

The presentation is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
