Man in his 60s seriously injured after stabbing near Queen Street East and Logan Avenue

Toronto police are investigating after a man in his 60s was seriously injured following a stabbing in the Queen Street East and Logan Avenue area this morning.

Police were called to an apartment building in the area just before 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, for a reported stabbing.

When police arrived they found a male victim in his 60s with serious injuries. The man has been taken to hospital for treatment of what police said are life-threatening injuries.

Police said a 30-year-old woman was arrested and that the investigation is ongoing.

It is not known if the victim and arrested person knew each other.
