Man, 51, charged in connection with alleged sexual assaults in Leslie Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East

A 51-year-old man is facing charges in connection with alleged sexual assaults in the East Toronto area.

Police were called to the area of Leslie Street and Lake Shore Boulevard East on Tuesday, Feb. 10, at approximately 1:45 p.m. for a reported sexual assault.

According to police, the victim was allegedly assaulted at her place of employment between Aug. 1, 2022 and Dec. 31, 2024.

Mohammed Shaik, 51, of Peel Region was arrested and charged on Saturday, Feb. 21 with five counts of sexual assault, said police in a news release.

In the news release, police said there be other victims and an image of Shaik has been released.
