Variety Village in southwest Scarborough hosting activities, facility tour this Family Day

Variety Village in Scarborough will be hosting special events this Family Day for the community to enjoy.

Located at 3701 Danforth Ave., east of Birchmount Road, Variety Village will be offering an open house, facility tours and activities for the whole family on Monday, Feb. 16 (Family Day).

The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open amenities will include activity stations such as pickleball, basketball, soccer, “giant” lawn games, and obstacle course and more. Access to the pool will also be open. The facility tours will take place every half hour between noon and 3 p.m.

Those attending will need to purchase a Family Day pass for $40.

For nearly 70 years, Variety Village has been a hub for inclusive sport, recreation and community, offering accessible opportunities for everyone to participate.
