Man, 21, charged in connection with alleged stabbing near Broadview and Danforth avenues

A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged stabbing in the Broadview and Danforth avenues area last Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the area on Saturday, Jan. 10, at approximately 4:09 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.
According to police, a man approached the victim for a cigarette and then allegedly stabbed the victim after the request was refused.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police said the suspect fled the scene after the incident.
Shortly after the alleged stabbing, a man was seen visiting a store in the area and allegedly leaving without paying for the items selected, police said.
Officers later arrested a man in connection with the incidents.
Lamarana Diallo, aged 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, possession of a weapon, theft under $5,000, and six counts of failure to comply with probation.
